Ryan spent his youth making short films; across every behind-the-scenes roll, he experimented with different styles, genres, technologies and budgets.
At age seventeen, he had made a feature film which garnered attention at film festivals and enrolled at the Met Film School, Ealing Studios.
Over the next two years, Ryan went onto make five films during his free time at film school (three shorts and two features, under the banner of Thunderstorm Entertainment Ltd.). Four of these films went onto international festival acclaim. The most successful of these projects being the a jazz documentary called "Red Light Solo", which won five Best Documentary Feature Awards and was widely well received from both film professionals and the general public.
Now, Ryan is continuing to develop new projects increasing in both scale and ambition.
